In this historical drama, peasant worker Pedro (Antonio Banderas) tries to get his fellow workers to rebel against the landowner Esteban (Jeremy Irons).
When Esteban catches Pedro, he orders him to remove his shirt. Pedro obeys, then bends forward and the foreman (who is Pedro’s father) takes hold of his wrists. Esteban lashes Pedro with what looks like a riding crop. We only see Pedro’s reactions but he’s a fine specimen and he’s clearly feeling it.
