I’ve been wanting to draw this ever since I got the ask about the Shokudaikiri sword story event in Ikesen.
I just find it 1000x better in stories if a timetraveller goes to the past and finds that the legend they were trying to prove is either false, or has not happened yet when they meet the historical figure in question.
Also, the story that Masa got set on a Scooby Doo chase around town by Hideyoshi is funnier than the “candlestick got cut while killing someone” story. Though, in history Hideyoshi just called Masa a thief and sent vassals to chase him as a prank. Hideyoshihimself had been the one who gave Masa the sword.
Shigezane wrote this, so unless the document is fake or he wasn’t present to witness it himself, then it should be actually legitimately true fact.
