Lo único sólido que de él quedó fue su chaqueta.⠀
La colgaron allí, en el armario grande. Fue olvidada.⠀
Se pegó al fondo, detrás de nuestras ropas de verano, de invierno,⠀
nuevas cada año, para nuestras necesidades nuevas. Hasta que,⠀
un día, llamó nuestra atención puede que por su color extraño,⠀
puede que por su anticuado corte. ⠀
Sobre sus botones⠀
había tres imágenes, iguales y redondas:⠀
el muro del fusilamiento, con cuatro agujeros,⠀
y alrededor, nuestro remordimiento.⠀

BEHIND THE OBLIVION⠀
⠀
The only solid thing left of him was his jacket.⠀
They hung it there in the big closet. It was forgotten.⠀
It stuck to the bottom, behind our summer, winter clothes,⠀
new every year, for our new needs. Until,⠀
one day, it caught our attention perhaps because of its strange color,⠀
maybe because of its old-fashioned cut.⠀
About its buttons⠀
there were three images, equal and round:⠀
the wall of execution, with four holes,⠀
and around, our remorse.⠀
