This is the other piece I did for Audire back in November, which I ALSO forgot to post. Whoops.
I drew Queen Mira from the Second Citadel. She canonically wears a headscarf, so I did some research and decided to base my design of her on a portrait of the 12th century Persian poet Mahsati Ganjavi. Mira’s pose and the overall composition is based on the 1915 Waterhouse painting “I Am Half-Sick of Shadows, Said the Lady of Shalott.”

Somehow I forgot to post this?
I drew this back in November for the Audire Zine, and I’m really happy with it! Trying to reconstruct the OTGW background was difficult, but I learned a lot from it.
