Kemuri (smoke in Japanese) blends Texas BBQ with a Japanese izakaya (essentially a Japanese tavern) in a former BBQ restaurant in far east Austin. Spending time with Tatsu and crew to creating this set of images has been one of my favorite projects this year. Congratulations to partners Tatsu Aikawa and Takuya Matsumoto on this great new concept.
