Amazon finally did a sale, she was $20 instead of $40 so I jumped half expecting two left legs or bad wonk. Her sculpt and makeup is what I expect from a Barbie: detailed, modelesque without looking botoxed, aligned!, multiple colours for the eye makeup, a cutcrease!, colours that enhance the skintone, proper lashes, blush that isn’t pasted low on the cheek, lipstick that isn’t pale pink, BROWN eyes. It pops under flash, looks subtle in daylight. The expressive body and full neck rotation that allows her to be more than a static mannequin. Classy, classic, didn’t attempt to slice me open during deboxing, can be displayed in the box if needed. Simple details you’d think and yet??? I’d have ten barbies this year if they had taken that kind of care with the screenings and hair.
