Finally convinced my cat-loving husband to get a puppy and we could not be happier She’s the sweetest little cuddler whose favorite place is on your lap with her head in the crook of your elbow. I’ve wanted a basset hound for FOREVER and am absolutely in love with her and her dopey face and floppy ears ⠀

We’ve been going back and forth with naming her, but I think we’ve settled on Millie, which is the crowd favorite too. (M refused to call her Phyllis which I still think would have suited her and been hilarious .)⠀

And so, now we have a pup, and apparently just in time for #nationaldogday which was a nice surprise Also, Zelie is in hiding and not speaking to us ♀️ #bassethoundpuppy
