I’ve seen hear a lot of people saying damn where are all the surprise entries and why is it all nxt, honestly I’m proud of wwe for not going with the old school method and really showcasing the future of the company, I went in not really caring about Lacey Evans, but she impressed me and I can’t wait to see more
So heres the deal, WWE have thrown talent under the bus when it comes to “being uncomfortable” working with them, it isnt that they think they’re unsafe, they just dont want to work with a SINGLES feud as they’re a TAG TEAM.
The talent were never heard anything about people being “unsafe” until wwe decided to gaslight them, thats what they do.
Also along with the utter bullshit that is the “8 hour rehersal” that DIDNT HAPPEN.
This comes down to the WWE’s treatment of the women’s tag team division and how bad it is.
WWE will gaslight and put people against one another constantly, this is on WWE and their utter bullshit.
Overall, I liked this match and felt Natalya deserved to win. Tamina was my overall pick but since she began working with Lana, it was obvious WWE management had other plans. Speaking of Tamina and Lana, my only criticism was the choice to have Tamina tap-out to Becky Lynch’s armbar finisher, immediately, while Lana withstood the submission (on multiple occasions) for a longer period of time. Things that make you go, hmmm. Aside from that suspect move (pun intended), the elimination match was well done. #1 contender Natalya challenging Naomi at SummerSlam for the Smackdown Women’s Championship should be a quality match.
