#TBT #UCF students competing in the 4th annual Pepsi-Daytona Intercollegiate Bed Race held at the Daytona International Speedway on February 5, 1983. Ten teams competed in the race with each team consisting of four runners and a driver. UCF team members Gorden Broodhead, Wayne Moleyen, David Barcinko, Calvin Thomas, and Patricia Kunze won first place for best-decorated bed, taking took home a cash price of $125. #ucfarchives #ucfhistory
