Had a catholic guy commission a painting depicting the land after Christ carrying of the cross under an eclipse. He provided the canvas and even tho I’m not catholic it was a fun and interesting piece to paint

It looks super good on the wall ngl, so contrasting (one of my classmates even said “glowing”)! Even if it fell down last night in the studio and I had to struggle to hang it up again this morning.. Overall, I like how it turned out, a big experiment (in more ways than one lol)! Don’t usually use charcoal bc it’s messy and can be hard to control but I discovered that on a very bug scale it works pretty well! And yes I did ran out of the spray to fix it…
