The Last Jedi really said the connection Rey and Kylo think they feel with each other is artificial and Kylo has resolved to be a committed fascist for life and then The Rise of Skywalker came along and said “no they’re Force soulmates” and ‘redeemed’ him yet TLJ gets all the flak for being the reylo movie.
