Hand me a towel, I’m dirty dancing by myself Gone off tabs of that acid Form me a circle, watch my Jagger Might lose my jacket and hit a solo, one time
We too loud in public, them police turned down the function Now we outside and the timing’s perfect Forgot to tell you, gotta tell you how much I vibe with you And we don’t gotta be solo
Now stay away from highways My eyes like them red lights Right now I prefer yellow Redbone, so mellow Fuck around, be cutting you Think we were better off solo
I got that act right in the Windy City that night No trees to blow through but blow me and I owe you Two grams when the sun rise Smoking good, rolling solo
Solo
It’s hell on Earth and the city’s on fire Inhale, in hell there’s heaven There’s a bull and a matador dueling in the sky Inhale, in hell there’s heaven
making Waves on the #CosmicStellarator (by Cosmic-Connection)⚡️ out in #deepplaya with the bright lights of #esplanade and #BlackRockCity in the distance
“The Cosmic Stellarator is a highly interactive visualisation of slow coupled-wave phenomena on a large scale. Participants will launch macroscopic torsional waves to explore the visual effect of gentle rolling wave motion, like an ocean wave highlighted by bright LEDs. All of the participant efforts will be sharing this experience of creative expression in a unique display highly visible across the entire Playa.
Why do it? - Waves are everywhere. From the infinitesimal photon to gravity waves spanning millions of lightyears we are bathed in a sea of waves. The Cosmic Stellarator gives BM citizens an opportunity to launch their own waves in the space-time continuum and explore the properties of this ubiquitous phenomenon. We hope to share the joy and beauty of wave motion on a large scale. We want to excite citizen’s curiosity in the physics governing large slow-moving waves. This is an extension of our own excitement in finding beauty in the symmetry of nature and the mathematical equations that describe it.”
2am, in the middle of #deepplaya, amongst neon sensory overload, flame-throwing Art cars, DJs, altered state revellers, and thumping electronica we lay beneath this 20foot rotating LED wheel - spinning & zooming above our heads, to the sound of classical music and Debussy ‘Claire de Lune’
