Meet Hal. Full name Hal’la’lavellan. And Hol.

Sure, you sound a little drunk saying it, but you’re in good company. Hal is too most of the time. Even if you do manage to pronounce it, he’ll still pretend he’s not sure if you’re taking to him or his oracle frog, Hol. Hal found him in a hole. The clan tolerates him because his craftsmanship building aravels and other methods of transportation is unparalleled, and Hal knows it. But excellence comes at a cost, which is mostly waiting for months at a time, until (by signs known only to Hal), Hol divines that it is a good day to work.

Dislikes:

- Working

 - People

- Being helpful in any way

 - Anyone looking at Hol disrespectfully or insulting him. (What is considered an insult varies wildly day to day.)

Likes:

- Threatening anyone who has insulted Hol

- Provoking people while looking completely placid

- Ingesting questionable substances, including Hol slime

- Drinking

- Arguing

 - Claiming to have met June and stolen his secrets

- Hol
