So ants got into @archie.the.superpup ’s food. An hour later the food is ant free and in a washed out container that will no longer live outside. I stfg if I see any more ants I’ll burn this house down.

“It’s a medical clinic, not a veterinary clinic”
Overheard whilst waiting with my clearly vested service dog, to see if doctors can diagnose me yet.
Strange realizations as a service dog handler
So recently I’ve been feeling like a a fake service dog handler. I’ve felt tray my medical need isn’t as great as I originally thought. This has been ongoing for a couple weeks now. I have both diagnosed and undiagnosed conditions (I can’t afford diagnostics/am going through diagnostics). And I feel like anxiety and depression isn’t enough for me to require the use of a service dog.
And tonight I realized that 1) my symptoms have lessened just by my dog’s presence, and 2) I’m in a better environment. Although he’s not ready for the workplace, I am able to work close to full time just because he exists in my life. His existence forces my to take him out, and he is a bridge for communicating with people.
