I had no idea that non-manual breast pumps haven’t even been around as long as computers. For as much of a frustration as my friends go through to pump their milk at work, I can’t imagine the pain and time it took to get breast milk through suction or hand-pump devices.

Bought my first pump yesterday! Even though a few people recommended the Medela, (in addition to the Moms I nanny for using that one) it just wasn’t in the budget right now.
I ended up purchasing the Evenflo Manual breastpump, and after two sessions, I like it so far.
(To be clear, I’m still in the midst of inducing, so this is all dry pumping)
Between a couple pump sessions, and nursing last night and again this morning- I’m feeling pretty tingly and sensitive (in the best way!)
