Harrison Browne scored his first goal and the first goal for the Buffalo Beauts of the 2016-2017 NWHL season during the game against the Boston Pride on October 7th.
It’s been a while Tumblr hasn’t it? Anyways I’ll be posting more as the NWHL season is staring TONIGHT! Yes, of course I’ll be there, covering all three games and I might have some surprises up my sleeve. Stay tuned!
Follow me on twitter @mhphoto22 and instagram @mikehinbuffalo as I normally post there first!
I would like to extend a very sincere thank you to the entire Buffalo Beauts organization, the GM of the Beauts Linda Mroz, and everyone from the NWHL for giving me the opportunity to document history being made by the amazing women in the NWHL.
The season might not have ended the way I would’ve liked but it’s not important. What is important however is the impact that this league has made. In it’s first season it’s inspired countless amounts of little girls that they too can lace up and get paid for playing the sport we all love.
I remember walking into the first game on October 11th 2015 and not knowing what to think. I knew that this league had marquee players like; Knight, Duggan, Pfalzer, etc but what I did not expect to see was how the city came out to support this team.
It was an absolute honor to shoot for this league. I have met so many amazing people, been apart of so many moments, made lifelong memories, and had probably the best hockey season I’ve ever shot.
