Joi Lansing (39D-23-35, W:H ratio 0.66, 5 ft 5 in, 115 lbs, 1929-1972), sometime in the late 1950s. Her ridiculous bullet bra was invented in the early 1940s but not popularized until Maidenform released their version in 1949. It was so influential that the design element can be seen even in the automobiles of the late 1950s. Joi’s was an archetypal hourglass figure and, fortunately, we have many pictures of her apparently wearing more traditional lingerie.
Joi, a Mormon, was born in Utah and neither smoked nor drank. Unfortunately for S&S followers, she never posed nude, either.
