okay but imagine a fucked up game of hide and seek with your kidnapper

“okay darling. i want to play a game, you know how much i like games don’t you? in a minute, i’m going to step out of this room and count to 10. you’ll have alllll of that time to run and hide. but let me be very clear, i expect you to be well hidden. because i can promise you. you don’t want to know what i’m going to do to you when i find you.

you heart was pounding through your chest. you’ve never been allowed outside of your room, and only having 10 seconds to find your way around made your heart sink into your stomach.

“okay, i’ll be right outside this door. i hope you can give me a challenge, for your own sake.” they say as they turn around and slowly closing the door behind them. you can hear them, their singsong voice. “oneeeeee. twoooooo. threeeeee…

you bolt to the door on the opposite side of the room, rushing to grab the doorknob. as you go to twist it, your vision goes fuzzy when you realize.. you can’t. it’s locked. “fiveeeee. siiiiiiiiix…” you shake it violently, twisting and turning it in all directions but to no avail. your breath starts picking up, your heart is pounding, tears well up in your eyes. “eighttttt. nineeeeee. ten. ready or not.. here i come.

as they step back into the room they find you, having slid down to the floor with your knees tucked to your chest, tears staining your face. “oh my, how pathetic. you wanted to be found, didn’t you? i always knew you loved it you little slut, you can’t fool me. ill take everything to new heights tonight, as a treat for being such a good, desperate thing for me.

they slowly inch close to you, gently lifting you chin up with a single finger and wiping the tears from your face with another. “ill be back in 5 minutes, i expect you to be exposed and in position when i get back sweetheart.” as you lift yourself up off the ground, feeling painfully weighed down by fear, you slowly walked back into your room. the only space you’ll ever know again. never breaking eye contact with them, no matter how much it hurt to see the darkness in their eyes. how difficult it was to watch a smirk slowly twitch across their face.

you continue to watch them carefully as they reach for the handle, discovering as you did that the door is locked. and with a laugh that sent chills down your spine they say “oh how silly of me, i must’ve forgotten i locked the door!
