#buy nothing new

a what I wore with a #buynothingnew emphasis. in 2019 I bought 11 brand new articles of clothing (not counting underwear lol) the rest was all second hand, something I’m gonna hold firm to from now on. 

thrifting (in ungentrified hoods at least) is really cheap & leaves room in the wallet to buy local, handmade stuff, another exception I make to the challenge. we gotta dump fast fashion. tell your fam. now who else wants to try? ✨
