These are all crazy out of order but whatever power on.

I’m not going to go into a whole spiel about Sharkquestionmark because I like Shark? like I like EULA–they’re everywhere and their just damn good. I last saw them at Cameo w/ Sleeping Bag+Speedy Ortiz. Everyone should def check out their album (I like Die AloneandDown Low) and see them on the next avails occasion. Hint: it’s 5/16 @ Death by Audio w/ Radical Dads, Mean Creek and Haybaby.

I’ll always go for the live video over a music vid in a post but here’s a link to one of theirs cuz I like it and it happens to be for the same song and newer.

A friend was in town for his birthday weekend and we were both more than pleasantly surprised that we both planned to hit this show for separate reasons (me for my Speedy Ortiz habit and he for Sleeping Bag). He said he had found them randomly via Spotify and it turned out to be one of the best nights ever (met some great people after). 

Marginally shoegaze-y but riffy enough to keep me up/excited the entire time. I’m a sucker for a riff. Top three for me: Acer, Saturday Night, Allison Cole. 

Hard to find recent videos, so this one is kind of old but the point is…the drummer is their singer and they play their sets without a whole lot of tearing around.
