All Along the Watchtower
johnny’s journal entry for v’s last quest always gets me… and clearly got me enough to make this monster. i started this in summer of 2021… only now just finished it…learned alot, planned alot, worked alot, and im actually happy to say i love the feel of the end result as much as i loved the feel of my first sketches. that doesnt happen very often, and im very much loving using colored pencils as a medium.
i always like to imagine an end where johnny was like, ready to let go of something for once, felt fulfilled…. albeit its an ending i have to conjure alot of stuff in the in between for, for it to make sense on my end cause… well… u know… but anyways.. bittersweet goodbyes are a thing i love alot. funny story is im pretty sure this whole idea was sparked not only by the quest log narration but also me listening to that one cover of wicked games they used in tua season 2…
