So here we are …
10 months after I started faking and 10,000of you have followed my little corner of Tumblr. I can’t even begin to tell you how insane that is to me and I never even imagined I’d get to this kind of number. YOU GUYS MADE IT POSSIBLE!
I haven’t posted about numbers since I hit 5000. I stopped because I wasn’t sure people cared about that sort of thing, but to me it shows growth and reach to a hell of a lot of people. Please don’t take this for bragging, I’m not trying to do that, I just want to express how much I value people following what I do. I wish I could do so more (I’m looking into some stuff … we’ll see I guess) but for now things are progressing at a nice rate with how I put fakes out. Things might change, but one remains true, I’ll still be doing this for a while.
My year anniversary is also coming up and I’d like to commemorate it some how, not sure what I should do, If any of you have ideas then please let me know in the comments. Which brings me on to another thing …
I love talking to you guys, and being a faker can be lonely, especially when no-one in your life knows you do this type of thing. It’s hard to keep it quiet when a milestone like this is reached but I have to. So, please, if you just want to talk then hit me up on a message. I love reading comments from people, or just seeing what people caption my fakes with (porn captions or reblog captions), its the interaction that helps me connect with all you awesome people. Perhaps I’m wanting more from this … I just don’t want to be a mindless fake machine that churns fake after fake out and doesn’t care about the people who want to see the pictures I create. I’ve always said from the start I wanted to be part of a community. I’ve started to chat with other fakers when I have the time and I always try to respond to people who message me (The ones who actually make an effort and don’t just spam my inbox with a celebs name constantly, there’s so many of you its hard to keep up sometimes too. I apologise if I don’t respond)
I started this to combat anxiety and depression … It helps, for the most part, but sometimes it cripples me and I need a break. Knowing that people want to see a new fake helps boost my mood and brings me back from the brink, I’ll stop rambling and just say this again … thank you, thank you and thank you.
