Said town is known as Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic and it’s very pretty. See:

I love a grubby Eli Roth film so I was very excited to be wandering round Hostel-ville, I also knew that while I was there I had to check out the Torture Museum that’s used in the film.

Sadly, I was travelling with two big ole wimps, meaning I had to traipse around the dark, dingey, slightly pongy underground museum solo. Very scary but I did see some fabulously gross and stabby torture implements, including this chair with ominous stains:

Nearly shat my pants when I noticed this wench caved into the walls.
