#chainmaille welded

I made this delightfully luscious 25 inch long continuous necklace from solid 14K Gold! The pattern is called GSG. I started with raw gold wire, wrapped the links around a rod, cut them with a jewelers’ saw, and then hand assembled them with pliers taking the time to even weld each one using my nifty pulse arc welder as I went. This one is special. I made it custom for one of my favorite people to make things for. It’s solid 14K gold! For my gold work, I hand form and then saw cut each link, and then as I assemble them, I weld each one using a pulse arc welder. This is my favorite work to do precisely because it takes the most time and skill
