Okay, so I jumped the gun a little on the chronological sequence, and got a little ahead of myself. Here we find ourselves witnessing the bizarre comeuppance of the naughty (18 year old) gum chewing prodigy. As you can see Mrs. Beauregarde is a little distraught concerning her blueberry of a daughter, while Mr Wonka calmly pokes the huge fruit to determine how firm (and ripe) she’s become.Eventually I’ll have the rough drafts cleaned up and colored as well. The lack of backdrop is a little disorientating, but I really don’t have the time commitment or inclination to create one. The shadows help ground it and I tried to use them emphasize the…. size.
