Between them, Sanji and Pudding would have 5 eyes and yet as a couple they would still not be utilizing the amount a typical couple should have and I respect them for that.
Can I have my heart back?
I’m never quite sure what to make of how Sanji acts towards Pudding after she’s fallen for him.
He’s no Luffy and Oda makes clear he does realize she has a crush on him. And while they’re working on the cake together at the least does not dissuade her from her crush and arguable encourages it, depending on how you read their interactions. However, Sanji also knows that Pudding is a great actress and a master manipulator because of it and that would understandably make it a little difficult to trust her. But he also isn’t anywhere near as flirtatious (simpy) with her ad he is with Nami and Robin. He clearly isn’t actively pursuing her, which is quite rare with Sanji already, but he doesn’t dissuade her either. He also never considers actually taking her with them or staying behind to be with her, setting her up for disappointment and heartbreak if her feelings were genuine.
Basically I can’t decide if Sanji is just being nice to her becuase he’s Sanji and she’s a lady and that’s what Sanji does or because he realizes it’s better to have her on with them than against them and brushing her off and hurting her feelings probably isn’t a good idea at the moment.
