Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez to direct an episode of Charmed
“I’m very excited about that opportunity and obviously very excited that I get to do it with three Latinas,” Gina Rodriguez told Variety, which first reported the news. “It’s really f—ing awesome. It’s going to be really exciting to see what that journey is.”
Charmed stars Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock and Sarah Jeffrey, and comes from Jane the Virgin showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman. It’s set to premiere Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.

Never have I ever seen anything more cringe worthy than the Charmed Reboot trailer. There isn’t a single thing I like about it. Wow. A 1998 show about witches felt so natural, no forced acting, no cheap jokes, faux relateable stuff or whatever - but we have this 2018 reboot, when technology has come so far and everything’s supposed to be ten times as better and it’s awful.
Hard pass.
I am all caught up on Charmed. I’m wondering if Maggie is going to have to do to Jordan what Buffy had to do to Angel at the end of S2 in order to save the world?
Also, when is Maggie going to talk to Antonio?
