#cheese gyoza

Very vacation lunch in Sendai! Gyoza were on special (only ¥200!) so I had two orders: one regular and one with cheese. My husband got spicy miso ramen with pork, which was delicious. And huge.

And apparently they’re even huger on Tuesday, with large portions or extra helpings discounted or free! And the record is EIGHT servings of noodles……. If you wanna try to beat that ( @kanpeki-bekki?),here’s their info, but even one serving is kind of a challenge!

Also, if the noodles have kind of a greenish tinge, it’s because they use goya (bitter melon) in the dough! Apparently it has all kinds of health benefits. There’s no bitter or vegetable flavor, though; they were actually kind of sweet, especially compared to the spicy, meaty soup.
