Life is Strange:Dark Room Fuck Your Selfie
*Spoilers*
I don’t usually do fanfics, I don’t hate them it’s just that I prefer to work on my OCs. However… Life is Strange is an exception to every rule ever created. I can’t deal with Dark Room’s ending, while it didn’t break me like Chaos Theory did, it left me uncomfortable, more angry than sad but still both. So Jefferson you motherfucker, now you deal with my Super Maxine.
In the comic I changed Chloe’s necklace to her left hand. Also she has more powers. Ability to rewind specific things, can stop time at will, can fast forward with her left hand and can change the time flow of a person she touches with both hands.
Basically I’m so angry that asshole killed Chloe, that as punishment I had Super Maxine use Frank’s bat to break his knee. Eventually that injury will kill him as he won’t get treatment. Worst yet, he won’t be removed from the timeline, in order to keep the sequence of events unchanged, (except for Chloe’s death since Max rewound the bullet out of her skull) but time will flow differently for him so that he can’t interact with anything in the normal flow of time. In essence, he will become the next person that disappears from Arcadia Bay. AND the pain will feel like it’s in real time, but the regular time will be slowed down so much that he will be alive and in constant pain for over 50 years.
Also, the cheesy name Maximum Price fits well with Max’s personality. Plus it means many things like the title of each episode of LiS. For one it’s a play on Max and Chloe, it’s also the name of a regulation when the government intervenes to adjust a cap in prices when they go overboard.
If you are wondering how can my “fanfic” Max be in the real Max timeline without replacing her? For one, they’re not the same age anymore, second I’m using the two moons as an example. Since the multiverse Max created is converging, for as long as there are two moons, they can both exist at the same time. (I’m aware one of the moons disappeared when they decided to go to the junkyard, just let me have this one OK)
If you don’t like this version of Max, that’s OK, I prefer the game version too, this is just to vent.

Super Maxine
I’ve already talked about how much I love Life is Strange and how the latest episode left me a bit… broken I guess would be the word. This is probably the last colored fanart I’ll do until the next episode. I love Max, I love Chloe, I love Kate and I like the rest of the cast, friends and antagonists alike.
Decided to add the basic version too along with the pencils. More than anything because I’m proud of how it turned out, even though I admit that I missed the likeness of the character by drawing her too much in my style and changing her attitude a bit. This is a Max that lost punk Chloe and is still focused on finding Rachel Amber.
Some rough sketches of “Super Max” or “Super Maxine”. Not meant to be a fanfic type of deal, more like this is how I’m dealing with the down time between episodes. I originally planned to have her wear a flannel skirt over some shorts but didn’t work for me. I like that Max wears jeans, it’s part of her personality.
So instead of the skirt I kept her traditional jeans but put Rachel’s shirt over them. She also has one of Chloe’s shirts, her necklace (tied to her right arm) and her jacket.
Since I don’t understand the whole reblog to reply deal, let me just thank everyone that likes and reblogs this post. I truly appreciate it and it encourages me to do more (though if I’m honest, the game alone is doing just that fine, IT’S SOOO GOOOOD)

Life is Strange is my favorite game of all time, a true next gen title. What I mean by that is while games like Witcher 3, Arkham Knight and the rest top AAA titles are focused on graphics and violence, this one is showing us that new games should be a nice combination of story, characters, gameplay and music that result in an experience that can’t be matched by a book or movie. Whether you like the graphics in Life is Strange or not is a matter of taste, personally I LOVE THEM! But this might just be my opinion and I don’t feel like discussing it any further.
Point is I’m in love with this game, too much actually, to the point where the latest episode left me scarred. This is the first time since I played the episode that I’ve been able to draw. I’m used to being depressed from time to time, I can handle that, but what I felt was more like a deep sadness. Don’t let my experience discourage you from trying the game, just wait until July if you are the type that get immersed in characters, that way episode 4 wouldn’t be that far off as it is now.
I do not get immersed but this game, through its settings, music and main character (who happens to be a lot like I was) achieved just that. I got pulled in so much that I got affected in an unexpected way.
