So I have hopped on a time machine and decided to do a series set in medical school focussing on the story that is Ethan and Tobias. This will be 3-4 parts.

Ethan sat at the back of the tutorial room. The tutor was expecting little input from a Ethan so when Ethan spoke to poke holes in the content he was taken aback and also tempted to kick him out.

Tobias was surprised but also impressed. The tutorial ended and Tobias caught up with Ethan.

“So shall I concede defeat now?”

“What we have four years, surely the content will get more challenging.”

“Well I do admit that the assumption we knew nothing was somewhat condescending but yes I suppose there is plenty of time to be challenged.

They discussed the lecture when they found themselves upon a small coffee shop on campus. Tobias suggests they stop and have a coffee. Ethan smiles, thankful that there was someone else his age who had an aversion to Starbucks.

Tobias ordered them both a long black. Ethan took a sip and enjoyed it.

“Nothing better than properly made coffee.”

“I agree, how people can tolerate frou frou coffee is beyond me.”
