WatchedSlayers Premium with Miss G. I’d not realized in the dub they had Cynthia Martinez as Lina, and it’s a sign of how much I love her that I endured it. It was also hard for me to get used to Chris Patton as Gourry. I did not mind Luci Christian as Amelia though. I’ve only seen Premium once, eons ago in college, and in Japanese so I didn’t have a lot of memories of it. Miss G thought it was funny and asked to watch more Slayers movies after we finished, but there’s only so much of Cynthia Martinez I can tolerate in a day so I told her she’d just have to wait till tomorrow.

During Naga’s cameo she did sigh and exclaimed with exasperation, “that girl.”

For the most part Miss G takes after her father, but every now and then she proves to be my daughter, lol.

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) dir. by George Miller.

One long chase scene built like a video game - including levels and bosses. Amazing visuals and imaginative enemy design (cars and costumes), very limited dialogue. It should have focused even more on silly stuff like the flamethrower guitarist. More focus on dialogue would sure be welcome too.
