With a groan Christopher stretched his limbs, he brought his hand down to rub the sleep out of his eyes, scanning the bed for any sign of you and finding none, but the wafting smell of cheese and oil gave him a good idea where you were. He grabbed his phone off the nightstand, seeing the digits “14:37” before his screen faded to black. Christopher skipped down the stairs before making his way to the kitchen where you stood over the stove, your daughter sat at the kitchen table colouring in
“Good morning sleeping beauty” You smiled giving him a kiss on the cheek
“Good morning” Christopher said with a giggle
“Papi” Your 4 year daughter squealed
“Buenos días mi princesa” Christopher smiled ruffling her hair a bit
“I’m making grilled cheese, you want one?” You ask him as you plate your daughters one and hand it to her
“Porfa” He says with a smile
“Coming right up” You say offering him a smile
“Papi?” Your daughter asks with a mouth full of food “can i please colour your drawings in?”
“You mean my tattoos?” He asks her with a giggle
“Si” She nods quickly
“You can colour daddy in, once you finish your lunch” You instruct her handing Chris his plate
Your daughter gives you a nod quickly, scoffing her food down despite your yelling that she would choke and immediately gets to work. You and Chris almost forget that she was colouring him in as you two make small talk, once she’s done she gives him a tap on the shoulder and points to his arm
Chris lifts his colourful arm and almost smiles at how much effort she put into staying in the lines and the colours she had mixed in.
“Does papa like it?” She asks excitedly
“Absolutamente” Chris smiled pulling her into a hug
“Papa you’re gonna mess it!” Your daughter giggles as her dad attacks her in kisses
