Cicely Tyson was honored with an #HonoraryOscar over the weekend and I thought it was a great time to share a clip from her very first film, “Carib Gold” (1956). In this clip Dottie (Ms. Tyson) is not too happy with a proposition her husband, Barb (Cecil Cunningham) has for her. The great Ethel Waters was the star and Geoffrey Holder and Diana Sands also made their feature film debuts in this film.
