Fun fact: I actually lost a shoe while jumping on the bed and laughed for a solid minute.
This was the best cosplay group I’ve ever been in. ALL THESE FOLKS WERE AMAZING. (Even though you can hardly see them here Anna is the fantastical @faeriecyn and Vanellope is the magical @leveltennerd go check them out for more awesome) And we had so much fun cramming so many princesses into one small hotel room.

I can’t believe that I’m typing this… But my Ella cosplay is done! After a little over a year of working on it (one and a half, if we’re counting the time I spent researching and swatching materials as well ) styling the wig was the last puzzle piece to be done. It still doesn’t feel real…

My Ella wig is fully styled and I just started on the last order of business before this cosplay is done (oh my god, what???), gluing some leftover crystals from when I was making the main outer skirt to the wig The top part is already done and I’ll probably finish this tomorrow

13 layers (14, if we’re counting the crinoline/corset)
120 m of fabric for the foundation petticoat.
40 m of fabric for the outer petticoat.
34 m of fabric for the main outer skirt.
4 m of fabric for the crinoline, corset, bodice and butterflies.
5.000 crystals on the top layer of the main outer skirt and wig.
Timespan I spent working on it (excluding the planning stages): 1 year, 3 months and 24 days.
309 hours and 30 minutes on the clock.
