Okay lemme explain this piece!
Later in the story, Elizabeth starts to become afraid/nervous around Baby.
Baby is desperate to keep Elizabeth by her side so she manipulates her form to look like a child!
This doesn’t work that well, but her change in height and more human look calms Elizabeth.
Afton knows Baby has done this, but yet again, does nothing. He ignores the whole situation and continues with his plans, which are to close down the whole business and move back to Britian.
