Was gonna include this in my other post, but I found it big enough to deserve its own.
Buckley, to everyone’s disgust, occasionally goes dumpster diving to look for diamonds in the rough—metaphorically speaking. His favorite time of year to do so is the day after Valentine’s Day, when heartbroken people discard their wilted bouquets and rejected love letters. Buckley feels a little guilty looking through peoples’ personal declarations of love, but his morbid curiosity always wins over. Furthermore, sometimes he likes to imagine the letters were for him.
