Percy the Purple Snail
This was so much fun. Tedious, yes, it was that too, but the excitement right before the cut, and then that feeling you get when it turned out like you pictured…
Y’all. I was too excited
Wow! This months challenge was a REAL challenge. We had to make and use our own soap dough (previously made was fine as long as you made it). Beginners had to make a simple embed to go the length of their mold. Experienced had to make complex embeds. My fish aquarium was my inspiration, and I found a gorgeous purple snail for a color guide. My very first attempt at the snail was hilarious as it grew to my soap bar size. So that got scaled way back, and then I wanted a guppy style fish, so using two extruded hearts, I created one.
