#college parties

There are a lot of things I’ll never understand about college partying:

• if you live in a town where all parties get busted, where residents aren’t comfortable with it, and you KNOW cops will come, why do you still go?
• why in the world do you think it would be okay to throw items, like beer bottles, at other people, especially cops? (they’re just doing their jobs!)
• what makes people want to riot? just because their 600 people block party gets busted?

Sometimes, people are extremely irresponsible and make bad choices. I’m glad that I don’t involved myself with the “party scene” at my school and I won’t get arrested for a night or get in worse trouble.

Thank goodness for tea.
