I reached another follower milestone so I just wanted to thank everyone who has followed me, recently or from the beginning. It’s always surprised me that anyone wants to read what I write, I mean, I started doing this in my very late 30s and really just did it to get the stories out of my head. I guess you’re never too old to find a new hobby. Oh and damn Henry and the amazing characters he’s created for being such an awesome inspiration.

I am… overwhelmed and grateful and happy and a million other feelings right now to be holding a copy of my book and seeing it on shelves.
To be a non-binary author especially with a book releasing only a day after a certain someone continues to spew hateful rhetoric just feels like the biggest victory.

After 5 years, 2 agents, 15 rejections and 66,000 words, that opening line has never changed. So excited for the world to meet my messy angry grieving bisexual protagonist Corinne. We did it. We really fucking did it.
so i’m launching my patreon!! this is something i’ve been debating on doing for a while now. a lot of back and forth about “should i do it? am i even a large enough and well-known dev to do this?” but instead of tying this into my worth and subsequently my story’s worth, i’m looking at this as an opportunity to invest in this story and the readers deeper.
also, life for me is getting to be a lot to juggle and i am really searching for ways to make this story a priority along with school, work, and (hopefully, fingers crossed) volunteer firefighting.
i want this to be a way that i can share more in depth content with y'all while we’re waiting on a chapter update, engage in a more meaningful way, and hopefully have fun and laugh while doing so. i also want to be able to commission RO portraits at some point.
