all these “this kpop idol is the best dancer” are so wrong if i were to explain in detail why you’d be so surprised

to explain, a lot of kpoppies tend to rank idols according to their dance skill and i hate it bc it’s actually so wrong jsgssjhs like…. we don’t do that in our community yk? sure we can agree that one is maybe objectively better than the other (if they have more skill/mastered more techniques) but we never drag each other down we never rank each other and we always hype each other up yk? also every dancer suits different styles yk so it’s normal some will be better at popping (nct jisung, ateez san) while others will probably vogue like they invented it (itzy chaeryong my best bet) but that doesn’t make any of these people worse dancer than the other? it’s normal that some dancer will dance this choreo better than the other so if you really feel the strong urge to rank them at least say oh x danced this choreo better than y bc that is actually more realistic lol
