All the people who want Colin to beg and cry and suffer (vomit, ick, gross but whatever) where does Colin getting to have valid and NEGATIVE emotions about Pen being Lady Whistledown fit in these little revenge fantasies?
Because it sure seems like a disturbing amount of this fandom wants Colin “punished” for one poor moment but Penelope exalted. And it is exhausting. They actually BOTH have things to own to and apologize for.
I hope they start the season separated and Colin grapples with missing her (and he apologizes for what he said) and I hope while that is happening, Penelope figures out what the eff she plans to do with Whistledown because how she uses it right now is not ok.
