Darkness surrounded you. Panic overcame you. It was always in the back of your mind, but the pain stung worse than you could have ever imagined. He left you. He left you alone with your inner demons tormenting your every thought.

You can’t take it anymore. You give into the pain and let go. Falling into darkness. Becoming the nothing you are supposed to be.

Strong hands catch you from falling, “I’m right here.”

He felt you shaking and drew you into his arms. “I’m not going to leave you suffering in darkness”

He cupped your cheek, pulling your eyes to look into his. Slowly and softly placing a kiss to your lips.

“When are you going to understand I love you?”
