CS + “Some days it feels more like a hostage negotiation with a band of drunken pirates than actual parenting.” (quite literally)
Emma and Killian’s son Harry is a bit rebellious. He likes to play pirate with “Captain” Uma, daughter of reformed sea-witch Ursula. But worse, he likes to torment Ben Gold, fighting a fight that isn’t his to fight with the polite and quiet son of the dark Crocodile that took so much from Harry’s parents. No one deserves what Harry puts Ben through, as Emma and Hook well know, having been on the receiving end of that kind of treatment themselves. Harry will face the repercussions of his actions, but it’s not his first offense and finding effective consequences proves to be quite a challenge.
Killian: “Harry, come on, son. Let him go.”
Harry: “Oh, we’re just havin’ a bit of fun, aren’t we, Ben?”
Emma: “No. Stop this right now. You’re just grounded is what you are. And you too, Uma. Don’t think we’re not telling your mother about this.”

Drawing is inspired by Kupala Night! It’s Slavic holiday. During this event people are connected via floating wreaths and each pair is going into the woods to find magic fern flower! So here’s my little interpretation of it with witch Emma and young Killian (who will never trust his brother again haha) :D

Princess Emma is kidnapped by Mother Gothel as revenge for being rejected and humiliated by none other than Captain Hook. However, Gothel has an ulterior motive for capturing the princess— she possesses the most powerful magic of all; as well as being the product of True Love, Emma also happens to be the Saviour— something Gothel is terrified of; she’s envious of what Emma is capable of, and she wants all the power she can get out of the young, naïve princess.

Ever since her mother was captured, she’s been dreaming about her —and as such, she always wakes up crying for her mama, much to her papa’s despair. As much as he wants to cry and scream and burn villages down to the ground in search for his precious and beloved wife, he needs to stay strong for his daughter, his Starfish, no matter how much it pains him to see the anguish in her blue eyes…
Tilly is home alone whilst Rogers is working at the station. As she wanders around the apartment, she browses through the many books she has found whilst living as a runaway, as well as some belonging to Rogers. On the small bookshelf, she searches for what book to read as a way of distracting herself from the current circumstances. She pauses her perusal when she comes across an Alice in Wonderland book. Tilly picks it out of its place and with misty eyes, she looks at the cover of the book intently as a flashback suddenly crosses her mind. She remembers the time when she was having one of her episodes and ran out of Rogers’ place with tears in her eyes and pills in her bag-back. The only other place she could think of going to at that moment was Eva’s motel room she’s staying in. Tilly releases a hesitant breath before she knocks on the motel door and hopes for Eva to answer. Eventually, Eva opens the door and is happy to see Tilly but as soon as she looks at the girl’s tear-streaked face, she’s overcome by a sudden motherly instinct to protect the poor girl. Eva swiftly turns the kettle on and offers Tilly some decaffeinated camomile tea to calm her nerves down whilst the young girl anxiously sits down on the sofa, wrapped in a soft fleece blanket. As the two women talk, Tilly feels herself relaxing immensely; the tea definitely helping. She mentions how she finds comfort in reading one of her favourite books—Alice in Wonderland— and how much she can relate to the character of Alice. Eva softly smiles at her and gets up from her place on the sofa to go look for the aforementioned book; she finds it tucked inside one of her desk drawers. With a smile and a twinkly in her eye, Eva sits down—book behind her back— and presents it to Tilly. The unadulterated look of pure joy on her face is a sight Eva will forever cherish. Whilst Tilly is focused on reading the book, Eva tasks herself in making some grilled cheese sandwiches for her and Tilly to eat for lunch, which they finish in seconds— much to their amusement. Before Tilly goes back to Rogers’ apartment, Eva gifts her the Alice in Wonderland book she loves. Not knowing what to say, Tilly hugs Eva in gratitude, a soft thank you whispered in her ear. Eva let’s Tilly know that she is always welcomed to visit, and if she needs someone to talk to, she can always come to her— no matter what it is. Looking at the woman she views as a mother figure, Tilly sticks up her pinky finger and says ‘promise?’. Eva looks at the young girl with the hopeful look in her eyes and replies with a nod, ‘pinky promise’…
Killian Jones is a detective tasked on making sure the streets of Seattle are safe, especially during the night. When he comes across a young prostitute named Emma Swan, he immediately takes a liking to her. He vows to help make sure Emma gets off the streets, as difficult as it may be for Emma, as that is the only way she can earn money. She feels safe with Killian, and she soon begins to develop feelings for him—feelings she hasn’t felt in so long—and that scares her so much; she doesn’t want to lose Killian. The only other person she had deep feelings for left her abruptly. What she doesn’t know is that Killian would do absolutely anything to keep her safe…
