Slight throwback to smash when I got to finally cosplay one of my fav novel series Captive Prince with a whole squad and had the time of my life! THEN flash forward to this past weekend when @ruksanada and I cosplayed our best princes at #stivesmedievalfaire and had the time of our lives AGAIN! Fantastic festivities, re-enacters, merch and MEAD!! The jousting was my absolute fav definitely going back again next year for sure!

Described in the book as ‘overwhelmingly decorative’ the palace of Arles always made me think of Alhambra and those crazy complex rotating mosaic pillars of Orvieto Cathedral. An exercise in overpainting!
