I actually think it rates higher on information control than anything else, it just doesn’t get to come up as much because we’re in the heads of people with access to information from outside more than anyone else- Jon, obviously, Gerry and Sasha were teens when they joined, Michael is allowed out on cult business, Jonah and Gertrude get to do whatever they want etc. but Arun’s one (1) source of what a cat looks like is a random antique, no one knows what went down with Gerry/his dad etc. Which is all ironic for being based around the Eye, but imo part of the Eye’s deal is Keeping secrets in addition to spilling them and Jonah’s deeply into keeping in the dark rip to jon in every incarnation
They rate lowest on thought and emotional control, because why would you bother with some of that stuff when you could literally just use your evil brain zapping powers and be done much faster? Honestly most of the points they miss on the bite model they miss because of Spooky Reasons because it’s one of the things i occasionally reference to keep the cult feeling like a cult and not like. a college dorm. Most of the other subpoints for any category are because Jonah isn’t really into physical beating people up stuff (brutal pipe murder excepted), I don’t want sexual violence in my story (though I do have detailed lore on the practicalities of how sex and reproduction happen in the cult. with justifications on both the doylist level of “pretty much everyone sleeps in a dorm” so there has to be somewhere else all these cult babies are being made bc that squicks me and on a watsonian level of “regency man jonah magnus wouldn’t have gotten anyone to join initially if there wasn’t an option with some kind of privacy”), and because if I was going to change character names I might as well just make it original fiction (though rereading the subpoints and seeing “change name/identity” on there did make me laugh because they don’t do that. unless. unless you count jonah’s hosts. who do quite literally change identities)
