#cured horse meat sausage is excellent if seasoned well

It’s easy to go like ‘how do these usually smart people buy into this absolute idiocy, conspiracy, propaganda, the-sun-is-not-a-star-it-can’t-be’ shit’.

My SO’s mother is a lovely woman. Gentle, a bit fragile in some toxic ways but smart. Doesn’t believe that the Sun is also a star.

When I used to clean a cinema to make money before I went back to school, there was another girl, a young mother. Again, sharp as a whip, observant, resolute but not inflexible, analytical. Does not even believe that space exists. 

So I’ve kind of dropped my air of superiority towards people who eschew basic facts. I can’t quite understand what the hell just yet, but I know that these are otherwise smart, savvy, keen people, even wise people. It’s just that there’s a weird block there. Idk and I’m also old enough to not argue as long as they’re not hurting anybody. I just want my buddies. We’re stuck here in this shithole anyway, doesn’t matter if the Sun is a star and if space exists. I’m learning to appreciate savvy within a degree of scope.
