You’re in the kitchen, mincing a whole onion along with garlic cloves. Rin keeps fussing, wondering why Hanma doesn’t have any servants roaming around the house to do the basic household needs.
“You mean to tell me you never noticed?” You chuckle, scrapping the chopped ingredients into the bottom of an already simmering pan. “There’s been no one here other than me and a few guards.”
“I thought he cleared everyone out when we came by.” Rin shrugs. The longer strands of his hair are clipped back with a small clip he took from your belongings after changing into casualwear. “Figured he enjoyed showing you off as his little housewife.”
“He liked that, too!” You push around the aromatics with your wooden spoon, letting them soften and fill the kitchen with a heavenly scent. “But I’m the only person around. I cook for him, clean, and send out his dry cleaning.”
“What,” Rin comes up behind you and slides a kitchen towel around your neck. “No leash?”
