Trying to come up with hcs to why my blood mages are,, blood mages
•Surana was after Jowan’s attempt to escape, she saw him then saw herself too, then Desire happened at the castle. Time was running out and the stress was too much, she needed things solved right there at that exactly moment
•Hawke… i like to think they were young and curious, a mischief who went wrong but not really, a secret kept between them and Bethany, then later Carver, a secret who grew up and grew old with the three of them
Then the possibilities of banter (or silent stares) alone is enough to fulfill me
•Surana is very much ‘use everything available/magic is magic’ person, and when pressed enough she is v prone to anger bc “my brother in Maker we are in the deep a$$ crack of the deep roads /we have 10+ years top to live if we are lucky wtf-”
•Hawke is now old, and a refugee, overworking to make sure his brother and mother have a roof under their heads, and living in a city made of chains with the most Frankstein’s monster group of friends, so they rly mostly just sigh internally and move on, no explanation, no long story time, it is what it is (they are not above exaggerations when the mood is up tho)
Someone commented on a tag wanting to know abt the Surana and Carver art context and i present: the HC hours
Basically I’m playing da:o with my Surana again and this time I’m defining personality/romances/outcomes etc.
Surana didn’t officially met Carver (or Anders) back in the King Cailan’s army camp (and the circle) respectively, but she did saw glimpses of them (and in Anders case, a few times on corridors, gossips/whispers).
Was only after Carver became GW that they got introduced, and Surana requested partnership with him. (The second HC is that if Surana isn’t surrounded by ppl she gathered along her journey she will just wither-)
They actually got along well (after tons of internal wall breaking), she’s is older than him and cares a lot. Mostly of their travels occurred after Kirkwall and the Inquisition time (Aveline took Carver away from the false calling, and Surana took him after and a few GW, probably Nathaniel too, far away with her), and that’s the long journey that included trying to help people affected by currently events, villages, farms, farms and lots of side jobs that required manual work
