The Crimson Academic Introduction
This is an UpdatedIntroduction.
Hey tumblrverse!
I’m the Crimson Academic and this is my third try at this here blog. I just couldn’t seem to make up my mind of what exactly I wanted to do with it. I tend to bite off way more than I can chew, stress out over how complicated I made everything, panic, then minimize it all down to a manageable size.
This is the minimization.
About me:
- Over 6-foot, she/her, USA, an aphant and a synesthete—17 types!
- Sophomore at Harvard via Extension School
- Pursuing Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts with a field concentration in Literature and a minor concentration in Creative Writing
- I work as a Trademark Administrator and am also a retired harpist
- I embroider, cross-stitch, color, draw cartoons, read, and write
- I still play harp—I just play for menow
- I attend for 3 semesters: fall,spring, and the 7-week summersemester
My academic goals:
- Dean’s List
- Graduateschool—Creative Writing & Literature—Extension School
- Possibly a PhD in English or
- AJD in Constitutional Law with an additional specialization in Intellectual Property Law (offered at the College of William & Mary)
- I enjoy studying literature,writing,languages(mostlyancient), and legal documents—mostly founding documents
Aims of the blog:
- Mostlystress-free, post whatever I want
- School & studying posts—both original and reblogs
- Primary focus is books
- Books I’m reading
- Books I’m reviewing + recommendations or antirecommendations
- Books I’m studying—close reading
- Biblestudies
My goal is to read 35 books in 2022—as of March 30th I have read 8. As of March 2022, I have acquired 49books and about 30 ebooks—I may have a problem but I have zero intentions of fixing it.
