Broody, silver haired, Fae king of the Night? Morally grey and just so freaking awesome!

Callie is awesome and I honestly didn’t expect this series to open up with a murder scene. But we open with young 16yo Callie (who is half Siren, btw) calling in her favour to our boy Des, aka The Bargainer.

Sea basically saves her life and we’re treated to a number of flashbacks to teen Callie hanging with the big bad Bargainer, calling in favours untill she has over 300+ debts.

Then suddenly, he’s gone, out if her life in an instant and it’s not until 7 years later that he returns. Callie, now a badass detective and rightfully pissed. And that’s where the fun begins!

I have the usual suspects when it comes to Fae books, but I really fell hard for this dark and steamy romance series. Definitely recommend.
